SUJANA CONVENT SCHOOL: A Case Study in Teacher Leadership

One of Mantra’s most essential stakeholders in the process of systemic transformation is the teacher, who is the fulcrum of the classroom and thus has the potential to be a significant part of the school transformation process.  Through our continued work in schools, we realized that some schools had a more motivated teacher body, making things like widened leadership system more effective in their schools, whereas others struggled in those areas.

In this study, we explore how teacher leadership could play a role in forming a positive school culture and shaping teacher experiences.
